    Despite the website say dispatch in 2 working days the items remained “ in picking “ for 4 days, until I emailed Russums to ask what was happening with my order.
    The website does not specify the size of the Wusthof whetstone, it is 150mm by 50mm which is smaller than a standard sharpening stone. Had I known this I would not have bought it.

    When placing my order, I needed these items within the next week so I chose standard delivery, hours after my order I received a confirmation saying they only had 1 out of the 2 items I purchased. You would expect this to be “out of stock” on the website as people have deadlines. I called up and I cancelled that item an asked for the item in stock to be shipped ASAP. I was told that they would ship it to me that day. The next day I check the status and it was still in the warehouse being picked. I called up the day after to confirm the status and it was still in the warehouse. I received my order on time but only though chasing them. The item was as expected but the service was no way near as expected. Services need improving.

    I use these to better protect my Japanese knives I own they fit like a glove not very expensive just look a little bit delicate we shall see.

    Really useful guard for my cooks knife has a soft felt liner , will prevent damage when I store knife in the drawer so it's in tip top condition, also handy when I transport my knife ....
