As a new chef my son required some fairly priced uniform so as not to ruin his own clothes.

The thermometer is exactly what I want: accurate, very compact, with a clear screen. However, my previous one only lasted about 20 uses (and one battery change) before it stopped working. I'm hoping that this one will last a bit longer.

This thermometer is very useful, particularly when you only have one hand free and need to take a reading. It can be annoying when using other thermometers where you need both hands; one for the probe and one for the display/battery unit, and this solves that problem. It is quick to provide an accurate measurement and the display is easy to read. It doesn't have an off button; instead it will auto-power off after 10 minutes. I think everyone should have one of these; it takes up very little space, is great value and is a very handy device.
